ANTARES HOTEL, Zermatt – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were packed with furniture, had heated boot warmers, and offered exceptional views of the Matterhorn. The location is fantastic with a view of the Matterhorn, but there were some service hiccups to be aware of. The dining experience was great, especially with the Matterhorn view during breakfast.

The hotel has an unbeatable location, just a few meters away from the main ski lift, with very good interior quality and comfortable beds. The service was efficient and friendly. The dining experience was top-notch with a variety of dishes available every day. One downside was the lack of explanation of facilities provided by the staff.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though small and crowded, had superb views of the Matterhorn but were a bit shabby with outdated amenities. The service was exceptional, with caring and friendly staff going above and beyond to assist us. The location, perfect for winter holidays, was ideal for skiing but seemed understaffed at times. The dining experience, while limited, surprised me with its delicious offerings. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement in certain areas.

The hotel's location near the gondola and offering a unique experience alongside the ropeway was great. The rooms, although comfortable, showed signs of wear and tear, especially the bathroom. Service was friendly, although occasionally brusque. Dining had a good selection, and the facilities were decent. However, the location had no towels and needed upkeep, which was a downside.

The hotel rooms are comfortable but could use some renovation, feeling a bit tired. Despite the small and crowded feel, they offer a cozy stay. The evening warmth might require open windows for comfort. The service is friendly, albeit intrusive at times. The location is convenient for skiing but may involve a walk back from town. The dining experience is satisfactory but not exceptional.
